Went to the broch of Gurness a little damp, ok very wet and forgot waterproof leggings Doh!
Site visit led by Martin Carruthers, Chair of Orkney Archaeology Society, Site Director of The Cairns Broch excavation and Programme Leader for MSc Archaeological Practice at the University of the Highlands and Islands Archaeology Institute.
- Lots of info and bits of info, brought it much more to life. Well worth the soaking. Ok is was just worth the soaking and it did finish in the sun shine.
